 About HSN Community Outreach Grants:
  HSN Mission: The Herb Society of Nashville is a non-profit, working organization dedicated to promoting the knowledge, use, and delight of herbs through educational programs, research and sharing the experience of its members with the community.

Outreach Grant Mission: Supporting gardens that enhance opportunity awareness and sense of community by providing nutrition, wellness and education.

Applicants:
Grant applicants may include schools, communities, care facilities, not-for-profit organizations, and any other entity that supports the HSN mission in the Middle Tennessee area. Though previous grant recipients may apply again each year, if an applicant has not submitted a progress report and/or has not completed its prior project or used their prior grant money, they may not re-apply for a grant.

Deadline & Dates:
• Grantees must agree to submit a progress report by October 15, 2024 to the grant committee that includes details of how the project was started and developed, people involved, impact to date, before and after photos of project space, people, etc. and how the money was used (identify specific items in the original budget).

• Chosen applicants agree to allow HSN to publicize their project details on our website and in any appropriate media.
